Interview with LEA

I love trying new things. That's why I was really happy that we're doing this collection together because it allows me to reinvent myself and express myself in a completely new way. I especially liked the fact that we chose colors together that I stand for, that define me and that suit me.

Even though I don't wear much makeup in my private life, I love how makeup or colors can express and reflect how you're feeling that day. Makeup can sometimes change my mood. I just like to experiment with it and maybe try out colors that I haven't seen on myself before. Makeup isn't a must, but it's so much fun to see yourself differently sometimes.

I definitely think it's really nice and important to show more naturalness again and I want to encourage people to be more natural and that you don't have to wear make-up to feel good. Even though society often expects you to wear make-up. In the last few years I've noticed how comfortable I feel without make-up.

It's only in the last few years that I've really realised what make-up can be. And that's really exciting because, of course, I grew up with make-up and tried out different things, but make-up was never a big part of my morning routine. The great thing about our collection is that the products are so natural and so simple in their own way, but still to the point. I love that everything we've developed is so real and natural. The collection is super diverse and can be used in different ways. Because you can simply decide which products you want to use and, above all, how strong, depending on how you feel on the day.

Personally, I pay a lot of attention to the ingredients because I want to do something good for my skin and keep it as healthy as possible. That's why I'm very careful about what I use and what I put on my skin. It's really important to me that JACKS beauty line and our collection are vegan. It would be unthinkable for me to use animal products. It's really nice that the products not only look great, but also have really good ingredients.

I would like women and girls, and generally all people, to find themselves beautiful just the way they are. Society often tells us that we have to be this way or that way, that we have to conform to beauty ideals and norms. I would like us all to accept ourselves just the way we are.

We are different and that is exactly what makes us so special and beautiful. If we all looked the same like people in magazines, it would be really boring. We are all just beautifully special with our little unique features that we have.
