Beautiful skin from within

Tips for nutrition, lifestyle, and care

Your skincare routine is sacred to you, you already use the right products – and yet your skin seems to do whatever it wants? Then maybe it's time to take a critical look at your own habits. Because skincare doesn't start in the bathroom, but on your plate, in everyday life, and in the recovery we allow not only ourselves but also our skin. And that is anything but easy for many of us! Yet skincare from the inside is at least as important as the right serums and creams – and the foundation for radiant skin at any age.

Nutrition & skin

Maybe you know this: too much sugar and a pimple the very next day. A balanced diet is important not only for our body as a whole but also truly for our skin! What we eat is reflected here sooner or – especially – later as well. And if it’s always just highly processed foods, the skin will eventually react too. Healthy eating is so much fun – and it helps reduce inflammation, make the complexion look fresher, and even strengthen the skin barrier, because the stability of our skin strongly depends on nutrient supply.

Particularly interesting are:

  • Antioxidant-rich foods like berries, green leafy vegetables, or nuts – they protect the skin from free radicals.

  • Omega-3 fatty acids from salmon, flaxseed oil, or chia seeds – they promote elasticity and have anti-inflammatory effects.

  • Protein sources like legumes, eggs, or quark – important for regeneration and collagen formation.

Hydration

A balanced diet also includes drinking plenty of fluids. It sounds simple, but it immediately makes a difference for the skin. When there is a lack of fluid, the skin quickly looks tired, dry, and less elastic. Sufficient water is the simplest form of skincare from within.

1.5-2 liters of water or unsweetened teas are a good daily guideline – the exact amount naturally depends on other factors such as climate, but also physical activity or age. The need increases in heat or during exercise.

By the way: Water-rich foods like cucumber, celery, or many types of fruit also contribute to hydration – and provide important nutrients as well.

Dietary Supplements & Well-Aging Vitamins

But we cannot always cover all the nutrients our body needs through a balanced diet alone. This is where dietary supplements can be useful – but please use them carefully and preferably after consulting a doctor.

As a small guideline, these substances are particularly helpful for the skin:

  • Zinc: supports wound healing and fights impurities

  • Biotin: strengthens skin, hair, and nails

  • Vitamin C & E: antioxidant protection, supports collagen formation

  • Collagen powder or capsules: can improve skin elasticity

Dietary supplements are not a substitute for a healthy diet – but a good support.

Stress & skin aging

Sure, stress isn’t good for us – that much is clear. But the fact that it can quickly become visible on the skin is actually not the first thing people think of. Because the hormone cortisol, which is released in large amounts during stress, weakens the skin barrier along with all its other side effects, promotes dryness and inflammation, and can also encourage blemishes. Stress pimples? Unfortunately, not that uncommon.

Reducing stress as much as possible, taking regular breaks, and practicing specific relaxation exercises like yoga, meditation, and the like are therefore not only good for your mind but also pure well-aging for your skin.

Sleep & regeneration

Sufficient sleep is perhaps the most underrated beauty tool of all! Because while we sleep, our body regenerates – and so does our skin. During deep sleep phases, cell renewal is stimulated, collagen is produced, and damaged skin cells are repaired. At the same time, cortisol levels drop, which helps prevent inflammation and blemishes.

Consistently getting too little sleep, on the other hand, can lead to duller skin and a weakened skin barrier – and of course, dark circles under the eyes! Ideally, you should get 7–9 hours per night – and regularly. Because no, unfortunately, sleep really can’t be “made up for.”

The very best is at least a somewhat consistent sleep routine – with plenty of fresh air in the bedroom and ideally less blue light and phone scrolling in the evening.

Exercise & circulation

In addition to nutrition and sleep, exercise simply feels good – and sports mean much more than just losing weight or being fit. Regular, balanced movement keeps us healthy all around. It doesn’t have to be competitive sports or intense HIIT – even regular walks, yoga, or short workouts are good for the body and have a positive effect on the skin:

  • Better circulation: Skin is optimally supplied with oxygen and nutrients

  • Lymphatic drainage effect: Toxins are broken down faster

  • Radiant complexion: not only immediately after the workout but also in the long term

The right routine

Combine inside and outside

The best care comes in pairs: What we provide from the inside must be complemented on the outside by the right skincare routine. That means: nutrition, lifestyle, and high-quality skincare are not an either-or, but a both-and!

Important points:

  • Less is more: a few high-quality essentials are enough.

  • The right order matters: from light to rich, so active ingredients work optimally.

  • Protect in the morning, regenerate at night: use SPF during the day, nourishing care at night.

Consistency is more important than perfection

It’s not very effective to go all out on skincare every now and then – but often neglect the topic in everyday life because the routine is too complicated. Much more important is to take small steps regularly – whether it’s daily moisturizing, getting enough sleep, or an extra portion of vegetables. Because the skin especially appreciates consistency!

Our skincare products are perfectly coordinated and ideal for a daily skincare routine. If five steps are too many for you, we have a little tip for a 3-step emergency routine that should really be done every evening:

  1. Cleaning: frees the skin from dirt and sebum

  2. Serum: supplies moisture or active ingredients

  3. Cream (with SPF during the day): protects and cares in one step

Conclusion: Skincare is more than just care

Healthy skin doesn’t start with skincare products – it starts with our habits. Nutrition, hydration, exercise, stress management, and the right skincare routine work together like a holistic well-aging concept.

In all areas, it’s not about perfection but continuity: even small, regular steps can make a big difference.

Combined with a healthy lifestyle, good skincare products can truly reach their full potential – because it’s this balance that strengthens the skin in the long term and makes it glow.

We hope this post has helped you and supports you in your daily beauty routine.
