Redness, inflammation, or pimples often make you feel uncomfortable in your own skin. They also make daily Make-up more difficult, as subtle or "natural-looking" coverage can be complicated. However, there are some tips and suitable Make-up products that can help your skin glow despite minor skin issues – without overwhelming your skin.

For problematic skin, we always recommend consulting a good dermatologist who can create care perfectly tailored to you and the needs of your skin.
As basic care, you should cleanse your face morning and evening. You can do this, for example, with our Cleanser, which is very mild and can protect the skin barrier through ingredients like panthenol. If you tend to have flaky skin, you can use a gentle peeling 2-3 times a week to remove excess skin particles from your face. Then apply a soothing and moisturizing serum. During the day, we recommend following up with a face cream with SPF 30 to 50.
Important: Let your care absorb thoroughly before applying your Make-up.
The right care also ensures an even and balanced complexion. That’s why our Self Tan Drops are so well suited. They have anti-inflammatory effects and give your skin a light, streak-free tan that evens out your complexion. Simply apply in the morning or evening—the tan builds up gradually. With our Self Tan Drops, you don’t have to worry about spots or unpleasant odors.
If you want light coverage, for example for everyday use or summer, our Glow Foundation is a great choice. Valuable active ingredients like squalane, bisabolol, and niacinamide provide moisture, reduce inflammation, and have antibacterial effects, helping to soothe or minimize blemishes, localized redness, and skin irritations.
If you want more coverage, whether for stronger blemishes or a more intense look, choose our Cover Foundation. It offers strong coverage and effectively conceals every problem area without looking mask-like. Here too, valuable ingredients like niacinamide, zinc, and bisabolol help regulate sebum production and thus prevent pimples.
A key factor for a natural look is the right Make-up shade. Feel free to use our testers and apply the Make-up sample along your jawline in natural daylight. The right shade should blend seamlessly with your skin and match your natural face color. If you are still unsure about the color choice, you can book our free beauty consultation or participate in our digital color consultation and receive your result within two minutes.
Areas on the face that are already dry or flaky should not be powdered further. Powder should only be applied to areas that tend to get oily quickly, where the powder has a fixing effect. A precise powder brush like the #23 Precise Powder Brush is excellent for this purpose.

Emphasized eyes or a bold lipstick are great ways to distract from skin imperfections. The color on your lips makes you look fresher. Here, you can really let yourself go. You can choose a strong red like our Signature Red, a dark shade like our Dark Red, or something fruity and bright like our Orange Red by Elena. First, outline your lips with a Lip Liner. Then apply the lipstick evenly over your lips.
If you prefer to emphasize your eyes, you can distract with beautiful eye makeup: Start by priming your eye with a light, nude eyeshadow like Champagne. This ensures that your Mascara or eyeliner won’t smudge later. To give your eyes more expression, apply a strong eyeliner with a darker eyeshadow and the #4 Eyebrow Brush. If you’re not practiced at this, you can blend it out afterward with the flat #5 Detail Brush.
Beauty Expert Tip: Avoid applying a lot of dark eyeshadow, as it can smudge throughout the day and make your skin look less soft.
