Our Beauty Expert Tip: If your Make-up looks slightly streaky, lightly dab the Brush on a tissue to remove excess product. Then gently go over the skin again with the Brush until the result looks even and natural.

With every purchase from the JACKS Artist Collection and every JACKS Atelier artwork, a donation is made to a good cause. This makes each individual piece part of something bigger.

Because doing good is deeply rooted in the DNA of JACKS beauty line. From joint projects with the Berlin-based KLIK association, where we designed our Brushes together with homeless young people, to working with social workshops to ship our products, and our annual Pink Charity Edition. As part of this initiative, we have donated 50% of the proceeds for an entire month each year for more than five years. 

With the Artist Collection, we are now taking this one step further: In the future, each limited edition will support a new charitable project that is also close to our hearts. In this way, we combine craftsmanship, aesthetics and responsibility, giving something back with every individual piece. Together with you.

To this day, every Brush is created through a meticulous, loving process between our Berlin studio and a family-run German brush manufactory. It’s not simply produced – it’s made. With time, care, and true craftsmanship.

With our Artist Collections, we aim to bring together craftsmanship, creativity, and real stories – in strictly limited editions, designed by changing artists.

FAQ

How often should I clean my Brushes and how?

We recommend cleaning your make-up brushes once a week with our vegan Brush Soap: Dampen your brush and dispense one pump of soap into the palm of your hand. Swirl the brush in your palm using gentle, circular motions to work up a lather. Rinse thoroughly under running water, keeping the brush head facing downward and making sure no water gets into the ferrule. Rinse until no soap residue remains. Finally, squeeze out the excess water with a clean towel and leave your brush to air dry flat.
Tip: Place the brushes over the edge of a table to dry, so air can circulate evenly around the bristles. Never blow-dry your make-up brushes or store them upright while wet, as water can collect in the handle and loosen the glue.

What is the best way to store my make-up brushes?

The best way to store your make-up brushes is upright or in a cosmetic bag. Brush holders are particularly great for this, like our beautiful one created in collaboration with ono mao. We still have a few lovely ones available in our Berlin store! This way your brushes are beautifully displayed, but non-too-tall vessels and small glasses work just as well.
We advise against storing brushes in airtight containers, as they need air circulation. Also make sure to clean your brushes regularly – this keeps them hygienic, looking their best and free from dust.

Can I use the #12 foundation brush with all foundations?

Yes! This brush was specially designed for applying foundation. No matter the type, whether powder foundation, liquid make-up, or cream foundation, the densely packed bristles ensure an especially even result. That’s exactly what makes it great for all make-up beginners! But you can also use it to apply powder, Bronzer, or Cream Blush perfectly.

Do the make-up brushes come with a guarantee?

Yes, we offer a 5-year satisfaction guarantee on all our make-up brushes. During this time, you can contact our customer service at any time and have your brush repaired through our official repair service.

What is the repair service?

This service directly through our brushes manufactory is anything but a given in the beauty industry!
