Who hasn't been there? You've found the perfect shade of your glow foundation, you're happy - and then... after a super sunny day in the park, a long walk in the sun or a summer vacation, the color is no longer ideal. Miriam Jacks, who designed our make-up range including the seven shades of our glow foundation, recommends our Mini Glow Foundation. You can use it to mix your large glow foundation a little lighter or darker.
How does that work? Miriam has some tips for you:
Which shades should I combine?
As a rule, I recommend mixing a shade darker or lighter together. Larger jumps between the shades are not absolutely necessary. If you are unsure, feel free to book a free shade consultation with our beauty expert .
What should the mixing ratio be?
There is no general answer to this: Apply a few drops of the Glow Foundation to the back of your hand or bowl - and then add the other shade of your Mini Glow Foundation drop by drop. Do this step by step so that your foundation is not too light or too dark in the end.
If you have previously applied some self-tanner, you will most likely only need one drop of the shade in a darker shade. As summer approaches and you gradually get a tan, you could use a 50/50 mix. And in the summer or after your summer vacation, only use a maximum of one drop of the lighter foundation.
What else should I consider before placing an order?
Make sure that you mix the foundation well. Be sure to test it on your neck to see if the ratio is right. If not, mix in some of the lighter or darker shade. Is it OK? Then you can apply the foundation as usual with your favorite brush - et voilà!
