Hello, you beautiful women out there!
As you may have noticed, we have launched our first vegan lipstick "Signature Red" on JACKS beauty line alongside our Lip Oil . A little dream comes true! Many people are probably asking themselves: Why is the first lipstick a bright red? Why is it my "Signature Red"?
I still remember my beginnings as a make-up artist. I wanted to gain a foothold in the beauty industry, have a career, be successful... And to do that, you have to say: 'Hey, here I am!' You have to present yourself, bang on the table, know your worth - and demand the money you deserve for your work. You have to be self-confident and secure so that you don't get overlooked.
And there was this one special red lipstick that gave me the strength to do just that. As soon as I had it on my lips, I was braver, more confident and stronger. This bright red was my superhero cape, which made me more daring.
And I would like to symbolically pass this superhero cape on to you with my "Signature Red"!
Why is there still a gender pay gap, why are there still so many more men at the top? Why are there so few female founders? Not because we are worse, have less power... No, because we often lack self-confidence and self-assurance. Because we women often don't have the courage to speak up and say what we are capable of.
Don't get me wrong, red lipstick is certainly not the answer. But let's remember this: have the courage to wear colour, have the courage to stand out, have the courage to bang the table, have the courage to ask for more, have the courage to say: I'm absolutely amazing!
Because that's what you are!

3 Tips for Applying Red Lipstick
1. Care: The red looks great on soft and supple lips . Therefore, I recommend exfoliating your lips the night before and applying a good lip care product.
2. Contouring: I apply concealer around the lips and blend it with our #8 or #9 brush – and finally mattify it with powder.
3. Application: Apply the lipstick to the lips. Then use our lip brush #15 for the finishing touches: Simply put some lipstick on the brush and trace the lip contour again.
Tip: Our Brush Corrector #2 corrects small mistakes. To ensure that the lipstick lasts a long time and doesn't end up on your teeth, simply press a cosmetic tissue gently onto your lips at the end to get rid of excess color.
