Application

Put some foundation on the back of your hand and apply it evenly to your face and neck with the #12 foundation brush – from the center of the face outward, using short, sweeping strokes for a streak-free finish.

To set with powder, use the #23 precise powder brush: dab or fan some pressed powder onto areas like under the eyes, on the eyelids, around the sides of the nose, or in the T-zone – for maximum precision even on smaller spots.

In case of significant hair loss, we professionally repair your brushes, provided they have been properly maintained was. And for a whole 5 years – in addition to the statutory warranty of 2 years. With every purchase from the JACKS Artist Collection and every JACKS Atelier artwork, a donation is made for a good cause. This way, each individual piece becomes part of a larger whole.

Because doing good is deeply rooted in the DNA of JACKS beauty line. Starting with joint projects with the Berlin association KLIK, where we designed our brushes together with homeless youth, through collaboration with social workshops for the shipping of our products, to our annual Pink Charity Edition. As part of this, for over five years we have been donating 50% of the proceeds for an entire month.

With the Artist Collection, we are now taking it a step further: Each limited edition will in the future support a new charitable project that is also close to our hearts. This way, we combine craftsmanship, aesthetics, and responsibility – and give back with every single piece. Together with you.

The high-quality, vegan synthetic hair is especially durable, hygienic, and powerful – for effortless blending, precise work, and an even, professional result. Thanks to carefully developed shapes, sizes, and hair structures, each brush is perfectly tailored to its specific area of application.

Material: The hair consists of high-quality synthetic, vegan fibers. The handle is made of FSC-certified wood, painted with acrylic paint.

Our hand-painted brushes are the heart of JACKS beauty line – and have been since day one. They were the beginning of our brand and still represent our commitment to true craftsmanship, quality, and design.

To this day, every brush is created through an elaborate, loving process between our Berlin studio and a family-run German brush manufacturer. It is not simply produced – it is made. With time, care, and true craftsmanship.

With the Artist Collection, a new chapter begins for our brushes after fourteen years. In strictly limited editions, designed by changing artists, we focus on what has been important to us from the start: the uniqueness, the story, and the value of these special pieces.

This way, not only tools are created, but real favorites with collector's value – made to accompany you for a long time. And because we believe in this value, we have developed a repair service together with our manufacturer. Because where others replace, we rely on genuine restoration.

Frequently Asked Questions

How often should I clean my brushes and how?

We recommend cleaning your make-up brushes once a week with our vegan Brush Soap: Dampen your brush and dispense one pump of soap into the palm of your hand. Swirl the brush in your palm using gentle, circular motions to work up a lather. Rinse thoroughly under running water, keeping the brush head facing downward and making sure no water gets into the ferrule. Rinse until no soap residue remains. Finally, squeeze out the excess water with a clean towel and leave your brush to air dry flat.
Tip: Place the brushes over the edge of a table to dry, so air can circulate evenly around the bristles. Never blow-dry your make-up brushes or store them upright while wet, as water can collect in the handle and loosen the glue.

What is the best way to store my make-up brushes?

The best way to store your make-up brushes is upright or in a cosmetic bag. Brush holders are particularly great for this – like our beautiful one created in collaboration with ono mao. We still have a few lovely ones available in our Berlin store! This way your brushes are beautifully displayed, but non-too-tall vessels and small glasses work just as well.
We advise against storing brushes in airtight containers, as they need air circulation. Also make sure to clean your brushes regularly – this keeps them hygienic, looking their best and free from dust.

Can I use the #12 Foundation Brush with all foundations?

"Yes! Our Brush #12 was specially developed for applying foundation. No matter which type – whether powder foundation, liquid make-up or cream foundation – the densely packed bristles ensure a particularly even result. This is exactly what makes it so great for all make-up beginners! But powder, bronzer or cream blush can also be applied beautifully with it.

Do the make-up brushes come with a guarantee?

Yes, we offer a 5-year satisfaction guarantee on all our make-up brushes. During this time, you can contact our customer service at any time and have your brush repaired through our official repair service.

What is the repair service?

This service directly through our brushes manufactory is anything but a given in the beauty industry! In case of significant hair loss, we professionally repair your brush, provided it was properly maintained was done. No replacement, but real repair.
