With every purchase from the JACKS Artist Collection and every JACKS Atelier artwork, a donation is made for a good cause. This way, each individual piece becomes part of a larger whole.

Because doing good is deeply rooted in the DNA of JACKS beauty line. Starting with joint projects with the Berlin association KLIK, where we designed our brushes together with homeless youth, through collaboration with social workshops for the shipping of our products, to our annual Pink Charity Edition. As part of this, for over five years we have been donating 50% of the proceeds for an entire month.

With the Artist Collection, we are now taking it a step further: Each limited edition will in the future support a new charitable project that is also close to our hearts. This way, we combine craftsmanship, aesthetics, and responsibility – and give back with every single piece. Together with you.

Each of our Make-up brushes is a hand-painted unique piece and an expression of our story – since day one. All brushes are vegan, lovingly hand-painted in our Berlin studio, and then finished to the highest quality in a German brush manufactory.
With the Artist Collection, a new chapter begins for our brushes after fourteen years. We capture the connection between craftsmanship, creativity, and emotions – in limited editions by ever-changing artists. The result? Truly unique brushes with collector's value, made to accompany you for many years. Thanks to its high-quality, vegan hair, it works effortlessly and precisely – and its design brings you joy every day. And if something should ever happen? Our specially developed repair service takes care of it.

Material: The hair consists of high-quality synthetic, vegan fibers. The handle is made of FSC-certified wood, painted with acrylic paint.

How often should I clean my Brushes and how?

We recommend cleaning your make-up brushes once a week with our vegan Brush Soap: Dampen your brush and dispense one pump of soap into the palm of your hand. Swirl the brush in your palm using gentle, circular motions to work up a lather. Rinse thoroughly under running water, keeping the brush head facing downward and making sure no water gets into the ferrule. Rinse until no soap residue remains. Finally, squeeze out the excess water with a clean towel and leave your brush to air dry flat.
Tip: Place the brushes over the edge of a table to dry, so air can circulate evenly around the bristles. Never blow-dry your make-up brushes or store them upright while wet, as water can collect in the handle and loosen the glue.

How should I best store my Make-up brushes?

The best way to store your make-up brushes is upright or in a cosmetic bag. Brush holders are particularly great for this, like our beautiful one created in collaboration with ono mao. We still have a few lovely ones available in our Berlin store! This way your brushes are beautifully displayed, but non-too-tall vessels and small glasses work just as well.
We advise against storing brushes in airtight containers, as they need air circulation. Also make sure to clean your brushes regularly – this keeps them hygienic, looking their best and free from dust.

Can I use the #12 Brush with all foundations?

Yes! Our Brushes #12 was specially designed for applying foundation. No matter the type – whether powder foundation, liquid make-up, or cream foundation – the densely packed bristles ensure an especially even result. That’s exactly what makes it so great for all make-up beginners! But it’s also perfect for applying powder, Bronzer, or Cream Blush.

Do the make-up brushes come with a guarantee?

Yes, we offer a 5-year satisfaction guarantee on all our make-up brushes. During this time, you can contact our customer service at any time and have your brush repaired through our official repair service.

What is the repair service?

This service directly through our brush manufactory is anything but standard in the beauty industry! In case of significant hair loss, we professionally repair your brush, provided it has been properly cared for . No replacement, but genuine restoration.
