We recommend cleaning your make-up brushes once a week with our vegan Brush Soap: Dampen your brush and dispense one pump of soap into the palm of your hand. Swirl the brush in your palm using gentle, circular motions to work up a lather. Rinse thoroughly under running water, keeping the brush head facing downward and making sure no water gets into the ferrule. Rinse until no soap residue remains. Finally, squeeze out the excess water with a clean towel and leave your brush to air dry flat.
Tip: Place the brushes over the edge of a table to dry, so air can circulate evenly around the bristles. Never blow-dry your make-up brushes or store them upright while wet, as water can collect in the handle and loosen the glue.

The best way to store your make-up brushes is upright or in a cosmetic bag. Brush holders are particularly great for this – like our beautiful one created in collaboration with ono mao. We still have a few lovely ones available in our Berlin store! This way your brushes are beautifully displayed, but non-too-tall vessels and small glasses work just as well.
We advise against storing brushes in airtight containers, as they need air circulation. Also make sure to clean your brushes regularly – this keeps them hygienic, looking their best and free from dust.

Thanks to its slightly flattened shape, our brush #14 can easily apply powder to hard-to-reach areas such as under the eyes and on the sides of the nose. You can also use the brush to apply your bronzer wonderfully - without having to wash it out in between!

Our powder brush #18 is a little softer. Its white bristles are particularly soft and supple. You can use it to powder large areas of your face or apply bronzer to your décolleté.
