Frequently Asked Questions

How often should I clean my Brushes?

Ideally, you should wash your Brushes once a week with our Brush Soap. Regular cleaning is essential for well-maintained make-up brush and their longevity, ensures better brush performance, and helps prevent skin impurities.

How long does Brush Soap last?

Brush Soap is good for 12 months after opening.

Is it possible to clean the brushes with a different soap as well?

Better not! It’s best to use a soap that was specifically made for cleaning brushes. Many soaps contain softening and conditioning ingredients that are suitable for your skin but can dull our fine brush hairs over time and fail to thoroughly remove product residue. That’s why we recommend our Brush Soap—you can’t go wrong with it.

Why should you clean your make-up brush regularly?

To keep your Brushes long-lasting and in good condition! Make-up residue that isn’t removed gradually builds up in the Brush bristles over time. The fine hairs become dull and lackluster, and they can no longer pick up product.

Another reason is hygiene. Daily use of your Brushes causes skin flakes to accumulate, allowing bacteria and germs to develop. You then transfer them onto your skin, which can lead to inflammation and blemishes. To prevent this, regular Brush hygiene is essential.

Cleaning does not put strain on the Brush hairs or shorten their lifespan. On the contrary! Regular Brush hygiene ensures that your Brush hairs stay soft, shiny, and pleasant on the skin.
