The Artist Collection by Denise Boomkens
Designed by photographer and style icon Denise Boomkens, the second Artist Collection of our hand-painted make-up brushes is an invitation for you to celebrate your own story – and your own beauty.
With our Artist Collections, we aim to bring together craftsmanship, creativity, and real stories. That’s why we’re so excited to collaborate on this collection with Denise, who shows us every day that true beauty isn’t defined by appearance. And definitely not by your age. It’s about how you feel about yourself.
Driven by compassion, curiosity, and the desire to change society’s current view on aging, she has created a platform with AndBloom alongside her work as a photographer that shares exactly this message every day. And it empowers so many women to not only accept their own beauty but to celebrate it.

A look behind the scenes
THIS IS HOW OUR BRUSHES ARE MADE

Even before we launched our first Artist Collection with our founder Miriam at the beginning of the year, Denise had already visited our Berlin studio to design her collection. Together with Miriam, she selected color worlds, created designs, and of course, completed the very first finished brushes of the collection.
Since then, our studio team has designed the entire collection based on these truly handmade and with endless attention to detail. And after several months, the time has finally come: The brushes have also been handmade in our family-run partner manufactory in southern Germany and are now ready to make their way to you.
Each individual brush carries not only this craftsmanship but also Denise’s signature.

Your make-up brush as a collector's item

Each brush from the Artist Collection comes in specially designed, high-quality packaging tailored to the respective collection and with an original certificate. Just like with works of art. This certificate confirms the authenticity, the artistic origin, and thus the limited edition of your brush. It documents that your unique piece was created by genuine handcraft – and remains part of a strictly limited edition as a collector's item.

Art & Charity

With each of our Artist Collections, we combine creativity with responsibility in addition to the collection itself. Because the canvases on which the very first brushes of this collection were rolled are given a second life here – and do good in the process.
Refined by Denise herself, each of these artworks tells a story. As part of our heartfelt project Art & Charity, these special unique pieces are auctioned in a high-quality shadow box frame. 100% of the proceeds are donated to a charitable project chosen by the artists of our Artist Collections themselves. Denise has chosen the association for cultural education krass e.V. – and we are very happy to give back to the community in this way.
WHERE WE DONATE // ART & CHARITY // DOING GOOD AS PART OF OUR DNA
WHERE WE DONATE
Giving something back – with every single piece
With every purchase from the JACKS Artist Collection and every Atelier artwork, a donation is made for a good cause. And each individual piece becomes part of a larger whole.
Because doing good is deeply rooted in the DNA of JACKS beauty line. Starting with joint projects with the Berlin-based association KLIK, where we designed our brushes together with homeless youth, through collaboration with social workshops in the shipping of our products, to our annual Pink Charity Edition. As part of this, for over five years we have donated 50% of the proceeds for an entire month.
With our Artist Collections, we are now taking it a step further and are very happy to be able to combine craftsmanship, aesthetics, and responsibility. Together with you.
